Keeping pace with scientific and technological development, traditional teaching-learning methodology has been the subject to major transformations over the last decades. Attempts are made to shape the landscape of technical education in the state of Odisha and elsewhere. This is a “Continuous Quality Evaluation and Monitoring System” and about application of technology in education with an objective to improve the overall quality of academic delivery on a continuous basis. Over the past decades, several studies have indicated benefits of use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in education. The role of ICT in education is paramount significance, and the question is no longer whether the technology helps us boost learning, rather it is how efficiently we envisage the use of technology to enhance the overall teaching learning process. The use of ICT in education system can play a vital role in supplying new forms of support to the teachers, students, administrator and the overall teaching-learning process as a whole more broadly.
This is an innovative concept aimed to improve the overall quality of academic teaching-learning process outcome for Technical Institutions: when implemented correctly, will definitely improve the quality of education being imparted through a continuous evaluation process by building-up a positive environment of constructive academic competitive spirit among the stakeholders: the students, the faculty and the institute.
